He received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his post-doctoral training at Yale University School of Medicine, before joining the faculty of Memorial Sloan-Kettering. His research is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of cancer therapy by incorporating small biological molecules that target cancer therapy into the treatment regimen for chemotherapy-resistant liver cancer.
